6:00 p.m.--basketball game between mothers, daughters, fathers, sons---everyone come--it is a lot of fun
Friday: Mass at St. Pat's
volleyball game: teachers vs. 8th grade
NO HOT LUNCH TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY: send cold lunch

My brother in law came last week and shared his pictures with the class. He has been to Cuba twice to visit. He also brought us a CD of their music---we have all enjoyed listening to it.

Permission slips will be going home for drivers coming back from the church
Please be specific on number of seatbelts and which class you can drive for--
remember---we have the entire school student body to return back to the
school---so we will need drivers. Thank you
We have been studying the colonies -- each group will be giving a presentation on their colonies on
Friday Jan. 27th. They have asked (excitedly) if they can dress up as colonists for this
day. YES they can. I have told the girls they need to wear long skirts and long sleeve blouses--tucked in or with a belt around it---we will make Puritan bonnets for them to wear.
Boys: long sleeve shirt with belt around it---one of dads shirts would be good
pants---with long socks on the outside of pants---tennis shoes are fine---possible make
a paper buckle to fasten to shoes--we will have hats for them
PLEASE---DO NOT buy anything new---this is like explorer day---find things in closet
The colonists were weavers--on looms--I would like to teach your children how to weave--I have made small looms out of popsicle sticks--if you have any yarn laying around your house, please send it -- Thanks
We have finished our Georgia O'Keefe art---come in to check out the masterpieces---they are truly beautiful.
